\n\tYe (formerly Kanye West<\/a>) joined Piers Morgan for another interview<\/a> on Tuesday (May 6), but the combative chat was short-lived as West stormed off just minutes into the sit-down.<\/p>\n \n\tWithin the first few seconds, things got contentious when Morgan called him \u201cYe West,\u201d with Ye responding that he\u2019s dropped West to lose his \u201cslave name.\u201d<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\tRelated\t\t<\/p>\n<\/h3><\/div>\n \t\t\t<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\tYe Rants \u2018I Hate J. Cole\u2019 & Claims Kendrick Lamar Fans \u2018Don\u2019t Know About\u00a0Rap\u2026\t\t<\/p>\n<\/h3><\/div>\n \t05\/01\/2025\t<\/p><\/div>\n \t\t<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n \n\t\u201cYou see that view,\u201d Yeezy said with a serene balcony view of the ocean off the Mallorca coast behind him. \u201cJudge me by the view,\u201d he said when asked how his life is \u201cat the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tMorgan felt that reply was in \u201cdirect contrast\u201d to the sentiments Ye has expressed with unhinged rants on X in recent months.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI already disagree,\u201d Ye cut off Morgan. \u201cIt\u2019s not in contrast. It\u2019s so many people and artists that are championing the idea of expressing who they really are and having to go through the war of being attacked by the banks and to still be here with this view, that\u2019s the win.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tRight before things went off the rails, Ye was offended that Morgan got his follower count wrong on X. Morgan listed 32 million when the exact number is upward of 33.3 million at press time. <\/a><\/p>\n \n\t\u201cYou\u2019re not gonna take inches off my di\u2013, bro,\u201d the Chicago native said. \u201cI\u2019m a gift, bro. Why do all you people in media act like you haven\u2019t played my songs at your weddings, or graduations or at funerals or when your child was born?\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tHe continued: \u201cYou take someone like that\u2019s living, like a [John] Lennon or a Michael Jackson<\/a>. That nuance right there is idiotic. It just shows the hate that you put out for people that put out love. There\u2019s so much love in the art that I put out.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe Uncensored<\/em> host was taken aback, and then West stormed off. \u201cThis is what you get for now, we can circle back when you can count.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tMorgan called Ye a \u201csniveling little coward\u201d and took out his frustrations on streamer Sneako, who was seated next to Ye during the interview.
