Jimmy Page has shared a rare original home demo of \u201cTen Years Gone\u201d, offering fans a glimpse into the early creative process behind one of Led Zeppelin\u2019s most atmospheric tracks.<\/p>\n

The recording features a stripped-back arrangement with Page sketching out the song\u2019s intricate guitar layers and reflective mood long before it was fully realised in the studio. It appeared on Zeppelin\u2019s 1975 album Physical Graffiti<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a footnote to\u00a0Physical Graffiti, I thought you might like to hear the original home demo, recorded in my studio at Plumpton Place, of a piece of music that was going to surface as \u2018Ten Years Gone\u2019,\u201d he wrote in the description on his official YouTube channel.<\/p>\n

\u201cI presented this rough mix to the band at Headley Grange in order to do this for real.\u00a0Robert Plant\u00a0came up with some lyrics for my music that were extraordinary and then we arrive at the song \u2018Ten Years Gone\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
